Customer Rating for this product is 5 out of 5 A very beautifully written Lance Branford, someone who reads alot., 05/18/2007

This book definitely fits the old saying 'never judge a book by its cover'. It has a very good storyline that takes place in a part of the world that few have every experienced. But to readers that have been there Lara capture the beauty that is felt the second you arrive. The train to Djibouti is a very interesting read to say the least. The reader will not be disappoint, this is definitely a quick read the author gives you enough but still has you yearning for more. I can't wait to see what's next from Lara Kasa.

Excellent enchanting read, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to find some truth as to what to search for in life.
For any budding film makers this could be a good film.

There are enough interesting characters and the plot works well to keep you in suspense and give you enough to keep you going.

One interesting thing for me is that I read the book while going to and from work on the train and looking at the vast multinational people made me even more aware that so many people are going to work perhaps to find there dream or loss themselves and could be searching wanting the truth which is so close to them on the one hand only if they knew it is so close.

Thanks Lara - I look forward to the next book.

I just finished reading at 12:03 a.m. helsinki time. I enjoyed your book a lot. The places mentioned in the book are very familiar for me (i am from awasa). It is great protray of the reality, nature, antiquty, adventure and ofcourse blurred imagination which always prevaile in most ethiopians. Waiting for your next book.
